What is it? In order to provide the best quality program for the boys in your troop, it is essential that all Boy Scout Leaders complete training for their position.  It is also recommended that all leaders and/or registered adult members of a troop, complete all trainings offered below, so that they get a full understanding of the Boy Scout program. In order to be trained, all leaders must also complete Youth Protection Training before October 13th (available online at www.my.scouting.org). Proof of training completion will be requested.

Trainings? Scoutmaster/Asst. Scoutmaster Job Position Specific (S24) is a two session class that will be held on Tuesdays: September 26th and October 3rd, 2017.  Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m.  The course will run from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at the Davie United Methodist Church 6500 SW 47th St., Davie, FL 33314.

Cost? There is no cost for the Scoutmaster/Asst. Scoutmaster Job Position Specific (S24)

Registration? We ask that all participants pre-register. This will help us provide enough handouts and food.  Please return the bottom of this form by noon Friday, September 22nd, 2017 for the Scoutmaster/Asst. Scoutmaster Job Position Specific (S24).

Insurance? Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
