The TIN/EIN is for the use of the South Florida Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America (SFC). The tax exempt status of any Pack, Troop, Crew, Ship, or Post is associated with their chartered or participating organization. The federal tax identification number cannot be used by Scout group; only the South Florida Council, Inc. It cannot be used to open banking accounts or any other use, except by the SFC.
