What is it? The Thunderbird District Fishing Tournament is an event in which Cub Scouts, Webelos and Boy Scouts and Siblings compete for various prizes within their divisions. This is a weigh and release fishing rodeo. You may keep fish that are in season and of legal size.

When & Where? May 12, 2018. This event will be held at Homestead Bayfront Park, 9698 SW 328 Street Homestead, FL 33033.

Time? 8:00 am Registration; 8:30 am Tournament Begins; 11:30 am – Final Weight In.

Cost? Early Bird Registration for All Scouts and Siblings is $10 on or before May 7, 2018.

Registration for All Scouts and Siblings is $15.00 after May 7, 2018. Walk-Ups are welcome and will cost $15 for all Scouts and Siblings.

Registration: Online registration will close on Thursday May 10th at 11:55pm. Please complete the paper registration including the second page and turn in to Myrna by close of day on Thursday May 10th.

Registration includes lunch and bait.

Refund? Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another Scout.

Supervision? All Scouts must have two- deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection guidelines. Tiger Cubs MUST have a parent present.

Food? Your registration includes lunch.

What to bring? Water bottle, water, fishing pole, hat, and camp chair.

Weather? This is a “rain or shine” event.

Insurance: Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance are provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
