SWIMMING MERIT BADGE                                                                                                                                                                                                          When: September 25, 2021

Where: Camp Elmore-Aquatic Pavilion-3551 Boy Scout Rd, Davie,FL,33330

(Enter thru Main Gate, and meet at the Aquatic Pavilion)

Time: 8:30AM-5PM

Cost: $35.00 for Merit badge program if registered by 09/03/2021

$45.00 if registered after 09/03/2021

Swimming MB participants MUST be a BSA Swimmer

Scouts need to be in Class “B” t-shirt and swimsuit, towel, water bottle.

All Scouts must visit the above website and have knowledge of the merit badge.

Additionally, the following is a list of any pre-requisites that you must do before

your class to complete your selected Merit Badge.

Swimming Merit Badge participants MUST email written proof from their Scoutmaster, Committee Chairperson or Advancement Chairperson of their Troop stating that they have been currently BSA Swim

Tested and are classified as a BSA Swimmer on record within 2020-2021 prior to the event.

You will not be able to swim if this information is not received by September 17, 2021

All participants MUST BRING a copy of their completed BSA Medical Form.

Once you have started the swimming merit badge in the water for requirement #2 & #3

If you need to get out the requirements must be started all over again.

All the Aquatics Merit Badges are strenuous, Scouts must be physically prepared to work.

Scouts MUST read the MB requirements prior to the class. Attendance will not guarantee completion.
