The Sol Leiman -2023 Merit Badge College- 

Registration for the 2023 Sol Lieman Merit Badge College is open!

What: Merit Badge College is an opportunity for all Boy Scouts to meet with qualified counselors and earn merit badges needed for advancement towards ranks including required badges for Eagle Scout. Scouts below the rank of FIRST CLASS have access to the Five Arrows Advancement Program as well as some Merit Badge classes.

The Leader Guide will be updated and posted shortly, but here are the key points you should know:

 

The event will take place at St. Thomas University on December 9^th and 10^th.

There is a $75 unit fee which must be paid by each unit that registers.

Each unit must register at least 2 adults, and they may both be instructors/assistants.

The price per youth is $45 until October 30^th when the price will go up to $55.

Registration closes on November 17^th at midnight.

Adults who do not volunteer to teach/assist for at least 4 hours are $25 each.

Any adult who volunteers as a Merit Badge Counselor or Assistant for at least 4 hours is free.

All adults must be registered with the BSA with current YPT certification valid at the time of the event.

All Merit Badge Counselors must be registered as BSA Merit Badge Counselors with South Florida Council for the Merit Badge(s) they are teaching. This must be completed two weeks before the College
