The Sol Leiman -2022 Five Arrows Advancement Program being held May 14, 2022
What: Five Arrows –Advancement Program is an opportunity for all Scouts BSA Members to meet with Instructors on all the basic Scout Skills required from Scout Rank up through First Class Rank.
Knots, Lashings, First Aid, Camping, Orienteering, Pioneering, Fire Building- Fireman Chit, Knife and Axe Use-Totin Chip, Native Plant and Animal Identification, Camp Service Project, Fitness, Hiking, Navigation, Scout Skills—

Who: For properly registered BSA Scouts Youth and Adult Leaders.
Webelos and Cub Scouts may NOT attend Five Arrows Advancement as this event is for youth registered in a Scout Troop – Scouts BSA–and adults. Younger Scouts should remain at home and may attend when they are older and registered in Scouts BSA.
When: May 14, 2022
Where: Camp Elmore 3551 SW 142 Avenue, Davie, FL. 33330
Camping: As in past years the Five Arrows (previously part of MB College) will allow camping if desired. Five Arrows camping is at Camp Elmore and is not included in the Five Arrows Price. Camping sites are available and will accommodate all Scouts from your unit attending Five Arrows. The Five Arrows Camping Chairman will be available on the grounds to assign each campsite and assist you along with the Campmasters. Units must register to camp as a Unit with South Florida Council separately by reserving with . All Camping Fees must be paid in full by April 30th, 2022. No individual campers can be accommodated. Two registered BSA Adults that have Youth Protection must be present with each Camping Unit.
Camping will run from Friday 4 PM until Sunday 11 AM. Camping will be $ 10 per person camping. Five Arrows is Saturday 8AM-5PM and is paid separate from camping
All Units with Youth Females will require accompanying registered Adult Female Leadership on site to attend or camp.
Meals: –Saturday lunch —is the only meal included– there is no additional program being offered except the Five Arrows on Saturday during the day hours. Any additional Program or meals are up to the Unit to provide.
Leadership: Each Unit is expected to register at least TWO paid adults with the Scouts and provide at least TWO adults to volunteer their assistance to the Five Arrows Advancement Program. We are especially in need of Five Arrow Instructors.
All camping units are required to have TWO registered adult leaders over 21 yrs old present for overnight camping. Units provide all their own camping and cooking gear. The only meal included is Saturday lunch for all Five Arrows registered participants
Five Arrows Program for our newer Scouts will take place on May 14, 2022
this event occurs after your Crossover Scouts enter your Troop, when you need it most.
Merit Badges– Some Merit badges will be offered in addition to the Five Arrows Scout Skills

Weather: This is a “rain or shine” event.
Insurance: Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
