PI – IOLS Training (outdoor)

What is it? In order to provide the best quality program for the boys in your troop, it is essential that all Boy Scout Leaders complete training for their position.  It is also recommended that all leaders and/or registered adult members of a troop, complete all training’s offered below, so that they get a full understanding of the Boy Scout program. In order to be trained, all leaders must also complete Youth Protection Training before April 24th  (available online at www.my.scouting.org). Proof of training completion will be requested.

Pre-requisite to attend is completion of– Scoutmaster Indoor Training (S24), and Youth Protection Training

Trainings? Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (S11), Friday, May 12th to Saturday the 13th, 2017.  Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Classes beginning at 6 PM Friday night.  The course will run through the weekend until 6 PM on Saturday. Camp Elmore 3551 SW 142nd Ave, Davie, FL 33330.

Cost? The cost for the Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (S11) is $15 to cover lunch on Saturday and camping.

Insurance? Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
