What is it?

IOLS- Introduction To Outdoor Leader Skills- The Outdoor Training for all Scouts BSA and Venture Leaders

In order to provide the best quality program for the boys in your troop, it is essential that all Scouts BSA Leaders complete training for their position.  It is also recommended that all leaders and/or registered adult members of a troop, complete all trainings offered below, so that they get a full understanding of the  Scouts BSA program. In order to be trained, all leaders must also complete Youth Protection Training before December 11th (available online at www.my.scouting.org). Proof of training completion will be requested.

Supervision?

Camp Elmore Campmaster and a Program Coordinator, plus multiple session/topic instructors

Cost?

$35, Early Bird Fee till January 9th,

Regular Registration is $ 55 until January 23rd. 10 PM.

No Refunds for participant cancellations

Course includes  camping fees, instructional materials and equipment and three meals (Saturday lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast). Registration online closes at 10 PM on January 23, 2022.

Registration?

Online only, no onsite registration, limited to 20 (to comply with Covid restrictions)

Food?

Breakfast should be eaten before arrival on Saturday. All other meals will be provided. Personal preference snacks may be brought by participants. Coffee and water will be available.

Covid-19 restrictions may affect food service and participant equipment. All participants, other than spouses, must tent individually. All BSA and Broward County Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions will be followed and enforced.
