This will be the 47th hike, and we would like all Scouting families to come out and take part in this year’s tradition.

Where? The hike will begin at the Torch of Friendship (in front of Bayside Mall) at 401 Biscayne Blvd. in downtown Miami. The hike will end at  St. Thomas Episcopal Parish Church, 5692 SW 88th Street (North Kendall Drive) , Coral Gables, Fl. 33156 . The church parking lot will open at 6 AM.

Supervision? A parent or guardian must accompany and be responsible for each Cub Scout and other family members for the entire event.

Cost? Currently projected at $7.00 per hiker. Patches will be ordered after the hike based on registrations and will be delivered after the event once received. Additional patches may be ordered. We also currently have an option for a Unit Based Self Guided Hike Program that will allow all our Scouts to hike within their own communities or to hike the actual Old Cutler Trail anytime during December 2020 and December 2021. We would like to give our Units the flexibility of hiking at their own schedule and location within their communities if desired . We wish to offer the ability to order the patch and medals for those that complete their Unit based self guided hike. Patches will be based on availability of first come first served

Once your Unit Self Guided Hike is completed- please e-mail to report when and where your hike took place.

Please stay tuned for updates.
