OA Haunted Forest Weekend Camping Event

The O-Shot Caw Lodge Haunted Forest is a fun filled weekend.

There is limited camping available for Cub Scout Units onsite. THIS WILL SELL OUT FAST

Everyone is welcome to come for the evening on Saturday night to the O.A. Haunted Forest

Camping will open up on August 28th for Cub Scout Units. Camping will be from 5 PM on Friday night to Noon on Sunday.

Each paid and registered Cub Scout Unit Camper includes- Camping Fees, Haunted Forest Trail Ticket, Haunted Forest Midway Wristband- (includes all activities Saturday night), Haunted Forest Event Patch, Archery Range and BB Gun Range, JOTA – Jamboree on the Air, access to all Camp Elmore hiking and nature trails- and any other activities that may be scheduled later.

All registered Camping Cub Scout Units may participate in:

the Archery Range and BB Gun Range at No Charge on Saturday from 9 AM-2 PM, as part of their package with camping during their Units assigned time slot.   You must be a Cub Scout camper to participate in this event. This is not for Scouts BSA or Venturers. And range spaces will be by time slot and will be limited.

On Saturday from 9 AM-2 PM we will also have JOTA – Jamboree on the Air available at No Charge for all registered campers during their Units designated time slots- they will be limited – You must be a camper to participate in this event

There are no activities available at Camp Elmore for the weekend during the day to non paid and registered Cub Scout Unit campers until after 7 PM on Saturday night. Non registered campers should arrive then for the Haunted Forest Evening Haunted Trail activities.

Camping does not include meals- all Units should plan to provide for their meals while onsite. For Saturday evening there will be food available from the OA Heron Grill to purchase as part of the evening activities.

The Haunted Trail opens at 7:30 PM on Saturday.

Haunted Forest Trail Tickets are available in the Council Office until Thursday October 19th at 3 PM. $6.00

Haunted Forest Trail Tickets are available onsite at Camp Elmore on Saturday October 21st at 7 PM for $ 10 each

Trail Tickets are available Online until October 18, 2023, at 11 PM. Or from any O-Shot-Caw Lodge Member.

Proceeds for the OA Haunted Forest are used to assist the O-Shot-Caw Lodge in running their annual events and to help Scouts who may not be able to afford camping through the Joseph Aaron Abbott Campership Fund. The Campership pays for partial fees- allowing all Scouts to still fundraise and help pay their own way for camping. Campership Forms will be available on January 1st, 2024.
