The South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, cordially invites you to join us at our Hispanic Heritage & Whitney M. Young Awards event. These special awards honor respected community leaders and organizations that exemplify the values of Scouting through their service and support of our community. Chairman Alejandro Mendieta and Vice Chairman Jose Felix Diaz invite you to join in celebrating this year’s honorees.

We celebrate this legacy as we reaffirm our commitment to inspire and prepare future generations of Scouting youth. We are pleased to announce that this year’s honorees are:

Proceeds from the event help support South Florida Council’s Outreach programs. These important initiatives are designed to bring Scouting directly to underprivileged youth in economically challenged communities. Our programs are benefit the youth of Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe counties.

This year’s event will be virtual and launched on social media platforms including LinkedIN, YouTube, and Facebook. Additional promotion will be through our Social Influencers sharing and boosting the event.
