What is it? Cub-o-ree is a District event in which Cub Scouts participate in a fun activities and competitions. This information is being sent to Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters and Committee Chairs. Please share this information with other adults and leaders in your Unit.
Activities? Packs will compete in various competitions from Tug-o-War to Adventure Quest. These will be judged and awarded prizes. There will also be many fun activities to participate in, such as the Archeology Lab.
When & Where? Friday, April 28th through Sunday, April 30th. Check-in begins at 4 pm Friday. Activities will run all day Saturday and the event will end Sunday after Scout’s Own. Cub-o-ree will be held at Camp Elmore, 3551 S.W. 142nd Ave., Davie, FL 33330.
Supervision? All units must have two-deep leadership in accordance with Youth Protection guidelines and at least one adult must be Youth Protection Trained.
Cost? Early Bird fee is $15 per per scout and $10 per parent online up until 11:55pm on April 17th. Starting April 18th through April 25th the fee is $20 per per scout and $15 per adult. There will be a Webelos Crossover Only option for $5 per per scout/parent through April 25th. Walk-Ups are welcome!
Registration fee includes camping fees, patches, and awards.
Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees are transferable to another scout or adult.
Registration? Registration is requested in order for us to plan campsite assignments accordingly. Please return the downloadable paper registration form below to the Council Service Center no later than Monday, April 17th for the $15 per scout or $10 per parent rate or by Tuesday April 25th for the $20 per scout or $15 per parent rate. If you are planning to just attend the Webelo Crossover the price is $5 per scout/parent.

Insurance? Liability, as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
