 Cub Family Fun Day:

What is it? The Cub Scout Family Fun Day & Campout is an opportunity for boys and their families to start the Cub Scout year off with a fun outdoor event. This Cub Family Fun Day will feature games and activities designed for the entire family.

When? Saturday, October 07, 2017, beginning at 9 am and conclude by 3 pm. At two locations

NO Camping is available at Camp Sawyer – CLOSED due to Hurricane Irma

Or at Camp Elmore and Camp Owaissa Bauer from 5 pm Friday to Saturday at 3 PM,

Where? Attend one of these three locations:

Supervision?  A parent or guardian must register and accompany and be responsible for each Cub Scout and other family members (siblings) for the entire event.

Cost?

  • $ 10 Day Pass per person (including adults and siblings). Fee covers lunch & patch.
  • $ 15 One Night Camping (including adults and siblings). Fee covers 1 lunch & patch. Camping Friday night any location

Refunds? Refunds are not available, but fees are transferrable to another Scout prior to event start of 9 AM

Food?  Lunch is provided for all pre-registered participants on Saturday only.

WALK INS- WILL NOT HAVE A LUNCH or PATCH  GUARANTEED.    Register early!

What to Bring? Each family is responsible for their own equipment for the Day Event or for Camping. Suggested items to bring for camping:

  • Tent, Sleeping bag, blankets, pillow, air mattress or pad
  • Rain gear, change of clothes, close toed shoes
  • Toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, washcloth, towel
  • Hat or cap, water bottle, flashlight, sunscreen, sunglasses, Insect repellent, camera

Weather? This is a “rain or shine” event.

Registration? Register online above by Thursday -Noon on October 5, 2017-or complete the 2017 Cub Family Fun Day Flyer and Registration Form  and return to Myrna Pedrayes to be received by Thursday Noon- October 5, 2017:

Insurance? Liability as well as Sickness and Accident Insurance is provided for all registered members and leaders of the South Florida Council.
