INTRODUCTION TO EXPLORING JACKSON HEALTH SYSTEM
Exploring Jackson at Jackson Memorial Hospital is a new program designed for high school students interested in learning about careers in health, science, and medicine. In a hospital setting, high school students will learn about health care from the region’s top physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other health care professionals, while touring key areas in the hospital, including Ryder Trauma Center and our helipad. Exploring Jackson participants will also have the opportunity to learn CPR.
REGISTRATION
Interested students may register by completing an Exploring Jackson application. This program is limited to 30 applicants and must be between the ages of 15 to 18. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis or until all spaces are filled. Contact Jackson Health System’s Communications and Outreach Department at 305-585-7213 or for more information. The deadline for application submission is OCTOBER 29th at the meeting.
