What is it?           “Passport To Adventure ” is a fun filled themed week of Cub Scout Day Camp being offered in four different locations in Miami Dade and Broward Counties on different weeks. Activities include Scout skills, archery, arts & crafts, BB Gun Shooting, land sports, special guests, daily programs, conservation programs and much, much more.  Scouts may sign up for multiple weeks for six different camps as they explore the world of Adventure!

 

When ?                Day Camp Hours are 8:30 AM- 4:30 PM. Before & aftercare available.

Week ONE        Two locations during   Week One

The Holy Rosary Cub Day Camp has been cancelled due to a lack of sufficient enrollment. Any registrations made online will be credited to another S F Council Cub Day Camp or refunded in full upon request.

Supervision?      The Pack should assist and provide leadership and adult supervision for their Cub Scouts who attend Day Camp, parents provide transportation to and from the camps. It is recommended that packs have at least one registered adult leader attend camp for every five to six Cub Scouts. Adults must complete Youth Protection Training and Hazardous Weather (both free online).

Refunds?             Refunds are not available after June 1st but fees are transferable to another Scout if we are notified prior to the start of camp week..

 

Food?                   All Cub Scouts should bring their non-perishable lunch each day and any snacks. Water is available all day to all campers

 

What to Bring?  Cub Scout may come dressed in a Cub Day Camp T shirt, uniform shorts or shorts, socks and closed toe shoes or sneakers. Each Cub Scout will receive two Cub Scout Day Camp T shirts, patch and a plastic cup to use for water during the day. This is a “rain or shine” event. Buildings are utilized for inclement weather.

 

Registration:      Pre- Registration can be done online. Pre-registration closes on May 31st. Registration can also be completed with a paper registration form. All registrations must be received in SF Council by the deadlines to qualify for discounts. Registrations online can be modified, so save your password. www.sfcbsa.org opens  March 24, 2018.

 

TIGERS– Scouts going into FIRST Grade must attend all week with a parent or adult guardian. They may not attend alone.  Lions may NOT attend- they can look forward to next year.

Register your son for the grade that he is entering in the fall (August 2018) at school. Do not register him for the grade he is in now. Example—if your son will be a 1st grader register him as a Tiger. if he will be a 2nd grader register his as a Wolf, if your son will be a 3rd grader register him as a Bear, if he will be a 4th grader register him as a Webelos, if your son will be a 5th grader register him as a AOL, if your son is entering 6th grade, he may not attend and should be in Boy Scout Summer Camp, not Cub Scout Day Camp.

 

BEFORE and AFTER Care:  Before Care runs from 8:00 to 8:30 am, and after care runs from 4:30 to 5:00 pm.   $ 25 for the full week.
