The Sporting Clays Invitational is a premier event and a highlight for the year for many shooters. Proceeds benefit Scouting Programs.

The event is held in early November at OK Corral in Okeechobee, Florida. Teams of four participate in a 14-station course and is a 100 “bird” (clay target) tournament. We also have a 25 “bird” flurry that has its own prize.

The event is November 5th and 6th, 2020.

This event has a rich tradition of continued support from great Title Sponsors: Euclid Laboratories, Pyramyd Air Gun Mall, and TRUIST Bank take the lead!

Over the years, this event has proven to be extremely popular because of the great fellowship, fabulous raffle items and good times had by all.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Experienced and novice shooters alike are encouraged to attend. No shooting experience required! Companies looking for a fantastic outing that helps employee team building and building youth leadership are invited as well.

Sponsors of the event have access to signage, naming and shooter options. They get great exposure and networking opportunities with like-minded business leaders from across the South Florida area.

** SUPRA ELITE 6.5 x .284 Norma…Custom High Performance Long Range Rifle
APO’s client wanted to push the envelope on our SUPRA Precision Light Rifle that typically comes in around 10.5 lbs in short action calibers, with a long range version chambered in 6.5 x .284 Norma. He planned to hunt the rifle out west for Mule Deer and Antelope, but more often than not, it would be shot at long range ringing steel targets. Built on a SABER LX bolt action receiver and MRCS AR modular rifle chassis, the SUPRA ELITE base rifle came in at 15lbs. This is fine for long range target shooting, and with a planned shoulder stock and scope rail swap-out the SUPRA can be slimmed down to around 11lbs. The SUPRA is finished in Cerakote OD Green over a Sniper Gray barreled action. Acceptable for an exceptionally accurate long-range plains game spot and stalk rifle. The SUPRA ELITE fired a very nice sub <1/2 MOA 5-shot group measuring 0.066″. The Norma “factory” ammo 130gr Golden Target ammunition provides exceptional accuracy and velocities in excess of 3,000 fps! Custom Accessories, Locking Hard Case, Leupold Scope, Bipod, Sling, Ballistic Calculator, 2 Magazines, Custom Ammo,  All factory assembled and Zero @ 100 Yards with 0.066 group.   MSRP $7,589.00
