Eagle Scout is not a rank that can be earned by simply meeting the requirements.
It is an Award that is only given to those who prove themselves worthy of it.
Since 1911, Scouting has served over 83 million boys.
Slightly less than 2% have been deemed worthy of the Eagle Award.

TO-HOPKI-LAGI NEWS
Our local chapter ( To-Hopki-Lagi) with the help of of Venture crews 314,413, and 2021, won second place for its display at the 2011 O\A Haunted forest.
It was the best display that they have done in years. Next our Chapter won the Tom Tatham spirit award at the Lodge Banquet on 3\3\2012. This award goes to the chapter with the best overall score from the afternoon competetions in seven events against the rest of the chapters in the lodge. The best news came at the end of the awards ceremony when our Andrew Crowe was chosen to recieve the Vigil Honor from the O\A. The highest honor bestowed on an arrowman . We are all proud of our boys in To-Hopki-Lagi, and especially Andrew for a wonderful year as our Chapter Chief. Thanks to everyone for a great year.

To-Hopki-Lagi represents all of Thunderbird district. We meet the first Monday of every month at Silverpalm United Methodist Church, located at the corner of 158 ave. and 248th st in Homestead, Florida. ABOUT THE ORDER OF THE ARROW
The Order of the Arrow is known to many as the National Honor society of Boy of America. To get into the OA a scout must receive 50% + 1 of votes from all the members of their troop. To be eligible to be voted into the OA a scout must be 1st class, having 15 nights camping over two years including one five-day trip, be registered with a troop, and exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their life. After they are voted in the must go through an Ordeal to become full fledged members of the Order of the Arrow.
Most of what happens in the OA is kept known only among its members. The OA believes in cheerful service and is always giving back to the community as much as possible.
